Mediation and private arbitration of complex insurance coverage claims is becoming increasingly prevalent. Sometimes, in working through the issues, parties decide that a coverage dispute can be resolved through arbitration instead of through time-consuming and costly litigation.
Kunz, Plitt, Hyland & Demlong offers both mediation and arbitration services through attorney Steven Plitt. We have extensive experience assisting policyholders and the insurance industry in resolving their coverage disputes without direct litigation.
Attorney and Licensed Arbitrator Steven Plitt

The goal of our mediation and private arbitration practice is to bring to the table a sophisticated trier of fact with extensive academic and practical experience in the field of insurance coverage and bad faith claims handling. As a mediator, the success of any mediation process is dependent upon the practical litigation and trial experience of the mediator in the selected area of dispute. We can provide this necessary experience in assisting with the resolution of disputes in the insurance coverage and bad faith claims handling areas.
Our attorneys regularly serve clients throughout the southwestern United States, including those in communities such as Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson, and Mesa, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico; Colorado Springs and Denver, Colorado; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
